BOARD YOUR PET WITH CONFIDENCE AT OUR ANIMAL INN

Your pet is a member of your family, so when you need to go out of town, whether that be for fun or for business, it’s hard to know who to trust with their care while you’re away. Instead of worrying about where to take your pet, book a boarding reservation at Westlake Animal Inn Pet Resort & Grooming and rest easy knowing your pet will be well cared for. Conveniently located behind Westlake Animal Hospital.

During your pet’s stay at our boarding facility in Tarpon Springs, your pet will be fed on schedule twice a day, participate in several walks, socialize with other like minded friends, enjoy personal playtimes with our caretakers, and more. Even if your pet is hesitant to stay at our facilities at first, they will feel comfortable and right at home in no time, thanks to the level of care we provide. We know leaving your pet behind can be tough on you as well, so please don’t hesitate to contact us to check up during their stay. We are always happy to talk to you, answer your questions, and assure you of your pet’s wellbeing!

We recommend reserving your pet’s kennel, especially for holidays and weekends, in advance. All pets staying in our facility must be current on vaccines for their safety and the safety of our other patients — no exceptions. Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, Influenza bivalent, and an up to date fecal test is required for all canine boarders. Rabies and Distemper are required for our feline boarders.

Put your pet into the care of our compassionate, highly trained staff here at Westlake Animal Inn. To reserve your boarding or to find out more about what our boarding facility offer, please reach out to us today.

IF MY PET IS MISSING THE REQUIRED VACCINATIONS, CAN I GET THEM THERE UPON ARRIVAL?

Yes. At Westlake, we take pride in maintaining a safe and controlled environment, and meeting these standards is the result of a successful partnership between us both. Certification from a veterinarian is required from each of our guests before admittance can be allowed. If this is not possible, we can make arrangements for Isolation time and complete the vaccines at Westlake Animal Hospital the day of. Titers will be accepted with proper documentation.

Canine Boarding Requirements include Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, Influenza H3N2/H3N8, and a Fecal test. (The Influenza vaccine and fecal test are not required for grooming)

Feline Boarding & Grooming Requirement include: Rabies & Feline Distemper

AM I ABLE TO BRING PERSONAL ITMES FROM HOME?

Providing something personal is a smart way to make your pet feel right at home. The idea is to make sure your fur fam feels safe and comfortable while you’re away. We kindly ask that you limit personal belongings to one blanket, and/or one toy. You may also bring a slow feed bowl, pee pads, and raised feeders if needed. Keep in mind, the Animal Inn provides everything at no addition cost.  Please leave raw hides, glass and metal bowls, and sentimental items at home.

DO YOU OFFER TOURS OF THE FACILITY?

Our caretakers are hard at work 7 am - 1 pm and 3 pm - 10 pm walking dogs, organizing playtimes, and cleaning kennels. The only available tour times are Monday-Friday typically between 1 pm - 3 pm to eliminate the risk of injury and distraction from our caretakers, patients and clients. Please feel free to stop by so you can see the environment your pet will have, no appointment necessary.
